I really liked PULSE, but I absolutely loved LIFE'S BLOOD! The "cliche" love triangle of the first book quickly becomes much more convoluted with the addition of a few more contenders. LIFE'S BLOOD provides the reader with a ton more action, some great plot twist and definitely more romance as our heroin Kalina struggles to choose between her vampire suitors. I know (from other reviews) that a lot of the fans were unhappy with Kalina's choice, but whether you agree of disagree with the final match-up, you will surely enjoy the ride getting there.

Gow has done a great job taking a series with ample potential to the next level. I devoured LIFE'S BLOOD and would be really annoyed if I had to wait to continue on with the next book after that crazy white-knuckle ending... fortunately I thought a head and picked up books 1-3 at the same time.
**Oh and I'm very happy to say that the typos in this second book were virtually nil =0)

I feel this series will get better and better with each book. The best part (aside from the vampire aspect) is the love square (?) between Octavious, Jaeger, Stuart, and Aaron and their love for Kalina. It's an epic love story with fantastic twists.
I really enjoyed this series of books. I don't usually purchase additional books for a series but this one kept me so interested to know what was going to happen that I would finish with one and immediately start the next. This says a lot cause I usually lose interest and don't purchase the additional ones.
Ok guys you have made it into the second installment in this series the first book was a little rocky but guess what..this book is AMAZING Compared to the first and you know what you will look for all other books in this series after this one!
Liked it but not worth the price since its sooooo short and starts getting a little repetitive. Starting feeling like we were reading in circles and didnt progress to anything or anywhere. If the rest of the series were cheaper I would continue and just deal with the run around because it has potential.
If you like the TV series Vampire Diaries you will love this book. The first book took me a while to get into and it was ok. this book is ok a quick, light read. I feel it drags a bit in parts. I have read better, but if you like vampires and a bit of romance you will like this, however if you hated Vampire Diaries don't even start this book.
This series are starting to get old kailin in love with brothers and their maker she loves them all ,they all fight to protect her and she goes from one to the other it gets old plus each of these book are very short ,200 plus pages so it feels like you are buying chapters very expensive not worth the price
I just don't get it. This a great story with endearing characters and I can read pages at a time and get immersed in the author's world and then wham, paragraphs of errors that throw me off and just ruin it. Misspelled or missing words. Having to go back and reread because of a weird skip in the story. I definitely like the idea and would want to know what happens next but jeez, find a friend to read these stories before putting them out for sale.
